Guidelines for Dress-Down Days

Throughout the year, MPCS students in all grades will have the opportunity to participate in “dress-down” days. The guidelines for these days for all grades are as follows:

• On special dress-down days, attire must be modest and school-appropriate.

• Clothes cannot be worn too baggy, too loose, or too tight.

• Tops must have sleeves and fully cover midriff (no crop-tops).

• Jeans and pants should be worn at the waist and fit appropriately.

• Jeans with no rips/holes.

• No cut-offs.

• No political or social movement statements or logos.

• No inappropriate logos or advertisements.

• No pajamas; flannel pants acceptable.

• BOYS: Adult shorts must have at least a 7-inch inseam

• GIRLS: Leggings must be paired with a shirt that covers bottom. No shorts or skirts for upper school.

• During Homecoming Week and other designated Spirit Days with themed dress days, specific dress guidelines will be communicated with students and parents in advance.

If not adhering to these guidelines, the student must be dressed in normal school uniform.

The administration reserves the right to determine appropriate dress code and may require students to change clothes if attire is deemed inappropriate. If you are unsure if an apparel item meets the criteria, please inquire.
